„Mitte der Neunziger rief der Songwriter, Sänger, Gitarrist und Produzent Peter Tägtgren Pain als Alternative zu seiner Death Metal Combo Hypocrisy ins Leben, um sich dort seiner Faszination für alles Außerirdische und den dazu passenden Elektro/Industrial Metal hinzugeben. Inzwischen haben Pain acht Studioalben veröffentlicht, darunter eine Vielzahl an Hymnen, die speziell Live die Clubs zum Kochen bringen und auf Festivals für die nötige Abwechslung zum Einheitsbrei sorgen. „We Come In Peace“ enthält eine stimmungsvolle Clubshow, aufgenommen 2012 im Stockholmer „Debaser Medis“, welche zusätzlich mit Dokumentationen und Statements aufgelockert wird. Herzstück ist eine 15 Tracks umfassende Killer-Show vom tschechischen „Masters Of Rock“ Festival, dessen Setlist erst verdeutlicht wie hoch der Stellenwert von Pain inzwischen ist. Beim finalen Überhit „Shut Your Mouth“ gesellt sich zudem noch Exodus Berserker Rob Dukes auf die Bühne und manifestiert die totale Zerstörung.
